Product configurator

I will show you how this tool would work on your own site

We go through this tool together and work out how it would be built to your brand, your products and your price list. It takes about twenty minutes and commits you to nothing.

Product configurator: the equipment, the specification and the price on one screen.

What it answers

When a machine costs tens of thousands and carries a dozen choices, nobody buys it online. They investigate. They want to know what that particular build costs, what it weighs and whether their tractor will pull it, and if the site will not say, they ring a competitor or let it go.

The configurator lets them build the machine themselves. Every choice shows its price, and the technical figures move with it. When the build is done they leave their details to get the specification and a quote.

Why it produces leads

  1. It answers the price question before the call Nobody rings about a machine this expensive until they know the order of magnitude. When the price is there, the reason not to get in touch disappears.
  2. The lead arrives already specified You know the working width, the equipment and the budget before you say a word. Your call starts where everyone else's ends.
  3. It filters out the wrong enquiries Someone who spent ten minutes building a machine is not browsing. The pointless calls thin out.
  4. The technical figures do the convincing Weight, transport width and power requirement move with every choice, so a buyer sees at once whether the machine suits their fleet.
  5. It tells you what customers actually want You see which builds get configured and which options never get picked. That is product intelligence you get nowhere else.
  6. It works while you sleep The farmer weighing up a purchase does it in the evening. The specification is waiting for you in the morning.
  7. The leads land where you already work The tool can be wired into your CRM, so enquiries arrive in the system you run your sales from rather than in a mailbox where they get lost.

How it works

  1. They choose the base model Size or working width sets the starting price and the machine's base figures.
  2. They add the equipment Every option shows its price. Some options exist only on some models, and the tool knows which.
  3. The specification moves with it Weight, transport width and power requirement are recomputed after every choice.
  4. You receive the finished specification In your inbox, with the build, the figures and the prices.
